Easy to install and works well via the app. Disappointed that you can't read the device directly via wireless so can't integrate to home automation. You must have a working internet connection to the Tankmate server. An API is available but is an extra paid subscription

We have 2 TankMate units working on remote tanks on our farm. The technology seems to be pretty good, the units are simple, robust, and for us work in places where the phone coverage is not great. I did need some initial support & assistance from TankMate to overcome some teething issues (mostly of my making), and they were very helpful & responsive to my issues

Phenomenal product!
Much suggestions for feedback:
1. When you re open the app, it stalls and does not update. You need to close the app and reboot to get fresh readings.
2. We really need usage (and charts) by the hour. When you run entirely off-grid, it is really important to know what consumption everything has. Like washing machines, dishwashers, different zones of irrigation. Daily consumption is not accurate enough. I know you can set measurements to every hour, but unless you look at it 24 times a day, you lose the hourly log

Excellent product and great communication/customer service.
I purchased two wifi units to monitor to tanks I have at an investment property. We are planning to short term rent it and it's improtant for us to know how much water is being used and if the levels are getting low. It also shows you estimated daily usage and other cool data. It took a while to get the sensor settings right so as when the tanks were full they were reading 100%, but once done all good.

We are planning to short term rent it and it's improtant for us to know how much water is being used and if the levels are getting low. It also shows you estimated daily usage and other cool data. It took a while to get the sensor settings right so as when the tanks were full they were reading 100%, but once done all good.

We have 2 TankMate units working on remote tanks on our farm. The technology seems to be pretty good, the units are simple, robust, and for us work in places where the phone coverage is not great. I did need some initial support & assistance from TankMate to overcome some teething issues (mostly of my making), and they were very helpful & responsive to my issues

Phenomenal product!
Much suggestions for feedback:
1. When you re open the app, it stalls and does not update. You need to close the app and reboot to get fresh readings.
2. We really need usage (and charts) by the hour. When you run entirely off-grid, it is really important to know what consumption everything has. Like washing machines, dishwashers, different zones of irrigation. Daily consumption is not accurate enough. I know you can set measurements to every hour, but unless you look at it 24 times a day, you lose the hourly log

Excellent product and great communication/customer service.
I purchased two wifi units to monitor to tanks I have at an investment property. We are planning to short term rent it and it's improtant for us to know how much water is being used and if the levels are getting low. It also shows you estimated daily usage and other cool data. It took a while to get the sensor settings right so as when the tanks were full they were reading 100%, but once done all good.

Easy to install and works well via the app. Disappointed that you can't read the device directly via wireless so can't integrate to home automation. You must have a working internet connection to the Tankmate server. An API is available but is an extra paid subscription

R3 Tank Level Sensor Description
Our most advanced sensor to date, the R3 sensor provides accurate and affordable tank level monitoring. The fully sealed sensor unit uses a non-contact radar sensor to measure tank levels with millimeter accuracy, to ensure years of trouble free operation.
Our R3 sensors are housed inside a robust polycarbonate enclosure with an IP68 weatherproof rating to ensure it can stand up to the elements. Powered by 3 x AA Lithium batteries, the sensor requires no external power and provides intelligent battery monitoring via the mobile app.
Key Features
This sensor can be used with a variety of tank types and shapes - installation requires a 30mm hole to be drilled in the tank lid / roof (at least 100mm above the water height). A single sensor can be used to monitor multiple tanks that are connected and have a common level.
